Why Are We Different
Dr Caze is one of the first sports neuropsychologists to complete a sports medicine fellowship in pediatric concussion.
We focus on treatment, not just management.
We believe in early access, often seeing athletes within an hour of their injury.
Early access and treatment means faster recovery and lower healthcare costs.
What is a concussion?
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, a concussion is “a type of traumatic brain injury—or TBI—caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head or by a hit to the body that causes the head and brain to move rapidly back and forth.” Though the early signs and symptoms can be scary, it is a treatable injury.
Research has shown that various brain networks can be acutely impacted following a concussion. Which networks are impacted are unique to each individual and injury, which is why each person can experience different symptoms. Knowing this is what informs our unique approach to treatment.
We offer both in-person visits at Think Whole Person Health Care and virtual tele-concussion visits. Call 402-235-8086 or learn more about what your visit will entail.
Dr. Caze is a sports neuropsychologist and is fellowship-trained in pediatric concussion. He has extensive experience working with athletes of all levels including youth, collegiate, semi-professional, and professional.
