Sport Neuropsychologist | Clinical Neuropsychologist | Concussion Management Expert
Dr. Kate Higgins, a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with a specialization in sports neuropsychology, has extensive experience in assessing and managing concussions and other neurocognitive conditions. She holds a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, where she concentrated in neuropsychology and completed a dissertation on concussion testing practices in high school athletes. She also earned a Master of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Fresno.
With over a decade of experience, Dr. Higgins is passionate about advancing the science of concussion management and helping athletes optimize their mental and physical performance. Her expertise bridges the fields of clinical neuropsychology, sports performance, and academic mentorship, making her a leader in the neuropsychological care of athletes and patients with TBI.
In her free time, Dr. Higgins enjoys being out by the lake in her camper or out on the lake on her paddleboard. If the lake is in the mountains, that's even better!
